Online Order Terms & Conditions

This website is owned and operated by Western Tiers Distillery and will be referred to as “We”, “our” and “us” in this Online Order Terms and Conditions. By using this site, you agree to the Online Order Terms and Conditions of this web site (“the website”), which is set out on this website page.

Ordering

Orders may be placed by selecting products from our online store and making a payment through our checkout and payment process.

By submitting an order and making payment, you make an offer to us to purchase the products you have selected and agree the Online Order Terms and Conditions of this website.

Payments

Payments may be made using Visa, MasterCard and Paypal. Card payments are processed upon receipt of your orders. A tax invoice is provided as your proof of purchase.

For your protection, all credit card transactions are conducted on a SSL secured site.

You must not pay or attempt to pay for orders through any fraudulent or unlawful means.

Please note: all prices in the online store are in Australia Dollars (AUD).

Cancellations

Order may be cancelled prior to the order being shipped. No fees or charges will be applied to such cancellations. However, once an order is shipped cancellations will not be accepted. We may cancel any part of an order, even orders we have accepted, without liability, if the ordered products are unavailable, there is an error in the price or product description on the site or if the order has been placed in breach of these terms and conditions. We will provide reasonable notice if such a cancellation is required.

Delivery

Your order will be delivered by a third-party courier. We use an overnight courier to deliver our products however we do not guarantee that orders will be delivered in that timeframe. Delivery to some regional parts of Australia can take longer and every effort is made to ensure that good and items ordered online will be able to withstand transit.

We will do our best to deliver on the date requested but we cannot guarantee delivery at a certain time.

It is a requirement that someone of 18 years of age or older is available to sign for the delivery – items will not leave a parcel without a signature being obtained.  

Please ensure that delivery address and contact information is correct as we will not be responsible for non-delivery due to an incorrect address being provided.

Prices

All prices on this website are in Australian dollars inclusive of GST. Freight is charge separately and is calculated and displayed during checkout.

Title and Risk

Liability for product defects and delivery issues remain with us until the product has been delivered. However, once the product has been delivered title and risk falls to the recipient,  this includes where someone has not been available to sign and receive delivery.

Quality Issues

We take great pride in the quality of our products and we aim to ensure that it reaches you in the best condition possible. Please check your order as soon as possible after receiving it and inspect it for quality. If you have any concerns regarding the quality of the products or there is damage to the package please contact us as soon as possible call us 0487 111 781 or email us at info@westerntiersdistillery.com.au. If you can send us images that will help us process your claim and investigate the cause of the issue. Where product quality is compromised or damaged in transit we can send a replacement order or provide a refund.


No Claim for product quality deterioration or damage can be processed unless we are notified as soon as possible. Claims will also not be accepted for issues regarding product quality in the following circumstances:

• Delayed deliveries due to weather problems;
• Incorrect delivery address(es);
• Deliveries to recipients who are not home or are unable to receive parcels; or
• Unopened parcels.

Supply of Products Containing Alcohol

Under Australian Law we are only able to sell items on the website containing alcohol to persons over the age of 18 or over. In placing an order with us that contains alcohol, you warrant to us that:

1. You are over the age of 18 years;
2. Any person that you are obtaining the Goods for, or supply the Goods to, is 18 years of age or over.
3. You will not take or supply any part of your order to any liquor-restricted area or community.
4. Alcohol items purchased can only be delivered to another adult who is not the purchaser.
5. Items cannot be delivered to a person at the location where the gift was purchased.
6. Gifts must be delivered between the hours of 7am to 7pm.

Anyone at the Delivery Address (or upon collection) who receives the Goods shall be presumed by Western Tiers Distillery to be authorised to receive the Goods. If the Order includes alcohol or other products where there is a minimum age required to purchase, you must ensure that a person of 18 years of age or over is available to accept these Goods.

Amendments to Terms and Conditions

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice. For this reason, we encourage you to review these Terms and Conditions whenever you purchase products from us or use our website.
