Strawberry Gin Delight
Glass
Martini glass or a coupeIngredients
30ml Breona’s Flavoured Gin¼ lime, cut into wedges
4 strawberries, hulled
1 heaped tablespoon granulated sugar, less if you don't like a sweet drink
4 ice cubes, crushed
120ml soda or tonic water
sugar in saucer to sugar rim glass
strawberries, thinly sliced to garnish
Method
Step 1
To sugar rim the glass, pour a small amount of sugar into a saucer, apply lemon or lime to the outer edge of glass, dip the glass into the sugar and slowly rotate until sugar has stuck to glass then put to one side.
Step 2
Into a cocktail shaker, add the juice of two wedges of lime to a glass along with a tablespoon of sugar. Muddle the strawberries with the back of a spoon in the glasses until the sugar is mostly dissolved.
Step 3.
Add crushed ice, 30ml of Breona’s Flavoured Gin to the glass, stir and empty into glass, top with tonic or soda water.
